Senior UI/Frontend Engineer - React (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £750 - 850 per day
 
Front End/UI Engineer - React

Contract - Inside IR35

A leading financial services firm is seeking a skilled Principal Front End React Engineer/Developer with a strong background in financial services working closely with users (ideally Front Office).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop responsive UI components with React and Redux.
  • Produce high-quality, testable software.
  • Cross-train team members in modern technologies.
  • Collaborate with business-facing teams.
  • Enhance technology platforms Front Office users
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
Essential Skills:
  • Expertise in React and Redux for SPA's
  • Proficiency in React libraries
  • Knowledge of React patterns
  • Familiarity with Front End development challenges and optimizations.
  • Clean Code
  • Knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience with Front End tooling
  • Proven experience in unit and end-to-end testing
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with RxJS, Cypress, Material-UI, and React Hooks.
