AS400/RPG/IBM ISeries Developer (Contract)
Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: Excellent Day Rate
Urgently seeking a IBM/RPG/AS400 Developer
Initial 6 month contract and the role will be hybrid with weekly visits to site in London required.
What you need:
- Experience in Financial Services, with a strong background in private banking.
- Experience of developing on the IBM i (aka IBM iSeries, System i, i5, AS/400) using RPG and CL.
- Must be confident in all flavours of RPG (fixed format RPG, free format RPG, )
- Previous experience of using XML, MQ Series, SFTP (or other file transfer protocols) and SQL.
Must have a Fintech background.
What you'll be doing:
- You will enhance and maintain a version of the Paladign system which is used to support the UK wealth management business.
- The software is maintained in house and has many interfaces with other systems for example financial reporting, order execution, portfolio management, client reporting.
Desirable:
- Java development on the IBM i
- Control-M job scheduling
- Use of turnover change control
