The Opportunity

Lead the global IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) program to enhance services, manage risks, improve processes, and ensure efficient service recovery during failures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and communicate IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain, test, and improve BCDR plans and documentation.
• Develop a plan to accredit IT's Business Continuity plans with standards like ISO22301.
• Act as a subject matter expert for IT in client RFIs, RFPs, and audits.
• Assess and present business cases for new or changed IT BCDR requirements.
• Develop an annual test schedule with senior management.
• Review and revise IT BCDR documentation annually.
• Maintain the risk register and assess risks to IT system continuity.
• Develop IT BCDR training and communication plans.
• Establish service level recovery standards and agreements with stakeholders and vendors.
• Ensure Business Services know their roles in IT BCDR Plans.

Performance Indicators:

• Effective development and improvement of IT BCDR plans and tests.
• Regular updates to the IT Risk Register.
• High internal stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a BCDR role.
• Membership of BCI or DRII or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).
• Experience in IT risk assessment and as a business analyst.
• Ability to lead and influence stakeholders.
