AI Programme Manager (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £850 +
 

We are looking for an experienced AI Programme Manager to join the Data Team of a Global organisation.

Our client has offices worldwide and throughout the UK, consequently applicants can be based out of any of the following places; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham or London. We need someone who has run Global programmes and has extensive experience of AI projects, and project/programme management.

You will be responsible for overseeing an AI Programme as a strategic initiative to scale AI across the firm as a business capability as well as advising on the use of AI in supporting design processes in the build environment.

This is a global team consisting of data scientists, architects, and engineers that utilises existing data platforms that ingest corporate and engineering data from disparate systems so ML/AI can enrich and optimise delivery procedures whilst providing insights and opportunities to the company. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to deliver on a CDO, CIO and CTO sponsored initiative.

You will be responsible for overseeing an AI Programme as a strategic initiative to scale AI across the firm as a business capability as well as advising on the use of AI in supporting design processes in the build environment.

Requirements and skills

  • Demonstrable experience of exceptional programme management competence and range of managing large change programmes across a varied portfolio.
  • Has worked in a global organisation and able to co-ordinate and manage a global change programme; having delivered AI programmes.
  • Be able to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage and influence stakeholders of all levels up to C-Suite.
  • Comprehensive skills around Problem, Issue, Risk and Change Management.
  • Strong problem resolution, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent skills in using a variety of planning tools including Project Plans, Jira Kanban and Scrum Boards.
  • A professional PM/PgM accreditation such as PRINCE2/PRINCE2 Agile/PMP/MSP/MoR/APM.

Desirable

  • Experience of SAFe essentials/large solution.
  • Experience of transformational programmes, ideally relating to data platforms delivery.
  • Experience of platform initiatives.
  • Experience of managing programmes with a strong AI component.
