Solution Architect

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Solution Architects to be based at their client's office in London, UK.

This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 2-3 days per week .

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP

Day rate: Competitive Market rate.

Job Role

• A Solution Architect who sees the bigger picture, how decisions impact the whole of the systems architecture.
• Should play a key role in an IT landscape transformation program for a leading UK airlines group.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership to a team of technical leads throughout the project life cycle.
• Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions. Developing proof-of-concept projects to validate your proposed solutions.
• Reviewing and validating solutions designs from other team members.
• Managing the technical artefacts, developing knowledge base, identifying.
• Process improvements and propose, help develop solutions.
• Communicating new features and benefits to partners, customers, and other stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• 12+ years of IT solution architecture.
• Technical expertise - C, C++, Java, J2EE, Springboot, AWS, Terraform, DevOps, Python.
• Leadership skills
• Business acumen - Airline domain knowledge preferably
• Stakeholder management.
• Analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Client facing, leading team of technical leads, assertive communication.
