You will join a recognised leader in defence technology and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and services. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation systems and services.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee code releases, deployments, and support operational systems
- Collaborate with software developers, users, project managers, and quality assurance teams
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure products and services are secure by design
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot issues
- Support operational systems and resolve technical problems
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in a STEM subject or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), programming languages (Java, Python, node.js, SQL), and data technologies (relational databases, NoSQL databases, data streaming, big data)
- Experience with DevSecOps tooling (version control, continuous integration/deployment, unit testing, infrastructure as code)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Curious and willing to seek out the best approach/solution/tool for the job at hand
