Linux Systems Engineer needed to join an established IT & Telecoms solutions business in Derby. Start ideally in June/July 2024.
Key skills, experience + tasks will include:
- A hands-on Technical Engineer with experience of Linux server deployments
- Design, scoping, implementation + maintenance of network infrastructure.
- IP network infrastructure expertise, IP network design, IP routing protocols, Firewalls, filtering, address lists, VPN protocols (SSTP, IPSec) + virtual hosting.
- Supporting, maintaining, developing + trouble-shooting customer network infrastructure, Servers + customer VPN connections.
- Technical integration discussions with customers, engaging with key stakeholders + supporting the drive to ISO 27001 certification.
