A leading Telecommunications organisation is looking for a Head of R&D to lead new intitiatives and spearhead innovation.
This is a permanent position and compensation is open for negotiation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Craft the R&D strategy, collaborating with HQ, mapping out the broader 5-Year strategic outline.
- Keeping updated on the latest trends and finding opportunities for new research initiatives.
- Oversee and guide an evergrowing team of R&D engineers.
- Assist in planning through collaboration with project managers, design leads and architects to ensure project viability and delivery.
- Be a powerful ambassador at international gatherings.
- Manage both internal and external stakeholders.
Core skills:
- Masters level reached in a relevant discipline(Minimum).
- 5+ years acting in a leadership capacity within a research setting.
- Strong people management skills.
- Open to undertake global travel.
