HR Technology Transformation - Program Director (Contract)

Location: Zürich Country: Switzerland Rate: 600-700 CHF per Day (Flexible)

Contract Length: 12 Months
Location/Remote Working: Zurich/Hybrid (2 days onsite) - Must be based in Switzerland
Pay Rate: 600-700 CHF per Day (Flexible)

Trust in Soda has formed a strategic partnership with a renowned global Insurance company. They are actively seeking an accomplished Senior Program Director with extensive experience in leading and managing large-scale, complex global programs, preferably within an HR context. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills. This role requires a deep understanding of program management methodologies, best practices, and the ability to drive program delivery across diverse, cross-functional, and international teams.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of their HR technology transformation program, shifting the digital HR backbone to a cloud-based solution.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to internal project teams and serve as the primary liaison with an external implementation partner organization.
  • Supervise and manage program delivery across various workstreams, ensuring adherence to timelines, objectives, and budget.
  • Take ownership of the detailed project plan, supported by a PMO organization and in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders, to monitor progress and proactively handle changes to project scope, timelines, and costs.
  • Maintain a program governance structure, including chairing the steering committee and conducting regular global and local program reviews.
  • Keep HR leadership and other stakeholders informed with regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and implement applicable mitigation strategies.

Essential Skill Set:

  • Hold a Master's degree in business administration, preferably with an emphasis on HR or IT.
  • Accumulate over 15 years of experience in consulting or global program management.
  • Demonstrate extensive involvement in overseeing large-scale technology transformation initiatives, particularly within the HR domain.
  • Possess expertise in SAP/SuccessFactors technology, if available.
  • Preferably, have experience in global change management.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills for driving transformation and influencing stakeholders effectively.
  • Showcase exceptional interpersonal abilities and a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of market trends and complete HR processes.
  • Work with a highly organized and self-directed approach.
  • Fluent in English at a native or proficient level (C1-C2).
